As a Chef or Kitchen Hand with The George on Collins you will be reporting to the Head Chef and supported by other senior members of the kitchen. You’ll be responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the Kitchen and working in a team to provide quality and a high level of food service while adhering to Kitchen policies and procedures. You’ll display a passion for all things food and show a flair for creating dishes made from local ingredients.

The Ideal Candidates Must Have:





- At Least two years experience in a similar role for Chefs
- An open & professional communication style

- Strong understanding of dietaries and how to process them in a high-pressure environment
- An eagerness to learn
- A highly structured and organised approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to perform in a high-pressure setting

- Organizational and time management skills is essential

- Available and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts

- Working rights with no restrictions
