Longboards Laidback Eatery & Bar, situated under the iconic Q1 building in Surfers Paradise, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef to join our dynamic team. If you are a qualified chef with a great attitude, a team player, and possess a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

- Assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu and standards.
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
- Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Assisting in the ordering and receiving of supplies.
- Ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Formal culinary training and relevant qualifications as a chef.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.




- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive salary of $77,000.00 per year plus superannuation.
