Jethro Canteen is a well-established, modern cafe in Richmond, known for high-quality food, excellent coffee and a strong local following.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team. This is a full time role suited to someone who takes pride in quality, consistency and presentation, and enjoys working in a busy cafe environment.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy cafe, restaurant or similar environment
- Strong commercial cooking and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for quality food and excellent presentation




- The ability to maintain consistency and high standards during busy service
- Excellent time management and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must
- A positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to take responsibility
- Availability for full-time hours, including weekends
- Availability for early morning starts and daytime shifts, finishing in the afternoon
- Comfortable working within a seven-day café operation
- A willingness to contribute ideas and help develop our menu
- Immediate availability is highly regarded

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
