Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate and talented Chef to join our dynamic team! As Chef, you'll bring your catering expertise to the table — preparing quality daily meals for patients and staff, meeting special diet requirements, and promoting healthy food choices that reflect SALHN's multi-skilling philosophy.

About the role:

Reporting to the Manager, Hotel Services, this role is responsible to ensure that the functions undertaken are consistent with agreed standard recipes and Food Safety principles are implemented and enforced.

Duties for the role will include:

- Commitment to delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the SALHN Integrated Governance Framework and Consumer Engagement Framework and Plan
- Commitment to providing a level of care that we would expect for our friends & family.
- Using catering expertise to provide a quality food services
- Communicating day-to-day with knowledge and skill to all levels of staff in Hotel Services
- Sharing knowledge of work practices within Hotel Services

About you:

- Certificate III in Cookery (minimum requirement)
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate highly regarded




- Demonstrated experience in a large-scale healthcare or institutional kitchen environment
- Practical knowledge of modified diets and standardised recipe systems
- Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work well as part of a team
