Primary Objective
Provide high-level administration support to the Child and Youth Mental Health team, including the coordination of Mental Health Child and Youth Outpatient Clinics for Central Australia Region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide prompt, skilled and accurate information for in-person and telephone enquiries, directing calls or messages to staff
and attending to requests as necessary.
1. Maintain the C and Y Building, including repairs and maintenance, and manage related contracts in consultation with the Finance
Officer.
1. Arrange and manage clients referrals and appointments through Caresys and JCCB or as requested by Child and Youth clinicians.
2. Coordinate all clinics, remote clinical visits throughout the region, staff leave, staff availability and contingency planning for clinics .
3. CCIS and PCIS data entry including the uploading of referrals and other relevant client documentation
4. Register and distribute all incoming and outgoing correspondence to the correct personnel for action and provide administrative
support for C and Y staff as required.
1. Maintain and order stationery supplies for Child and Youth Mental Health Team.
2. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in
order to ensure high quality, safe services in the workplaces.

Selection Criteria
Essential
1. Ability to provide organised and timely administrative support using initiative and flexibility.
2. High-level oral and written communication skills,
with demonstrated ability to deal effectively with members of the public in person
and on the telephone.
1. Ability to work under pressure within a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
2. High level of self-management including ability to work with minimal supervision.
3. Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and the ability to recognise and deal with appropriately with sensitive issues.
4. Demonstrated computing skills with proficiency in a range of relevant computer software with ability to undertake high quality data
entry and effective retrieval of information.
1. Relevant experience working and communicating with people with mental and physical disabilities including an ability to interact
effectively with people of diverse cultures.
Desirable
1. Working knowledge of Community Care Information System (CCIS), Caresys including Jadecare Clinical Booking (JCCB), Primary
Care Information System (PCIS), Clinical Work Station (CWS) and Travel Request Information Processing System (TRIPS)
1. NT Drivers Licence or the ability to obtain
