About the RoleAs a Trainee, you will:

- Assist educators to implement play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Support children’s participation in daily experiences, routines and transitions.
- Engage with children in a warm, responsive and respectful manner.
- Observe children’s play and share relevant information with educators.
- Support children’s agency by encouraging choice and independence.
- Actively work towards completion of an ACECQA-approved Certificate III level education and care qualification and maintain evidence of enrolment and satisfactory progress.
- Participate in study, training and workplace learning activities.

You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services that uphold child safety, cultural safety, and family-led practice.

Skills and Experience :

- Enrolled in, or willing to enroll in and commence, an ACECQA-approved Certificate III level education and care qualification and meet the NQF requirements for being “actively working towards” the qualification.




- Complete prescribed national child safety training and any required NSW child protection training within applicable statutory timeframes, and maintain refresher training as required.
- Genuine interest in working with children.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities, including a strong understanding of cultural safety, self-determination, and the historical and contemporary factors that impact Aboriginal peoples.

What’s on Offer:

Base salary superannuation

Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses)

Meal & entertainment packaging: Additional $2,650 tax-free per FBT year

Leave loading and additional wellbeing leave
