In your current role you will be required to have an advanced level of expertise within the Older Persons Rehabilitation and Assessment Service and be able to deliver direct nursing care.

About us

SACU is a 48-bed unit in a setting for adults and older persons which promotes rehab and recovery towards discharge to home or to other post discharge destinations. SACU has a dedicated nurse led 8 bed cognitive support unit, providing specialised dementia care for those patients requiring behavioural support.

The Clinical

Facilitator will work collaboratively with the Nursing Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide clinical education, support and supervision of nursing staff employed within the Older Persons Rehabilitation and Assessment Service.

About your opportunity

In this position you will…

- Provide effective and efficient supervision and apply evidence-based practice principles to clinical education within the Older Persons Rehabilitation and Assessment Service.
- Work with the Nurse Educator to design and implement innovative education programs.
- Effectively manage self-development and work with the Nurse Educator to meet facility nursing staff development needs.
