Join the South Care Community Team in Edmonton as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and deliver specialist and advanced clinical mental health nursing practice within a multidisciplinary team. Provide evidence-based community interventions, expert clinical leadership and consultancy to support adults with mental illness, making a meaningful difference through assessment, treatment planning and recovery-focused care that promotes wellbeing, independence and optimal consumer outcomes in the community. About us
The South Care Community Team provides recovery-focused mental health services through a multidisciplinary approach. Our team delivers clinical assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and ongoing support to adults with mental illness, helping consumers maintain optimal functioning and wellbeing within the least restrictive environment. We are committed to evidence-based, person-centred care that supports recovery, independence and positive community outcomes.

About your role
- Apply qualified judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
- Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care.
- Provide clinical advice,
leadership, and education to the Adult Community mental health team, and other stakeholders regarding service delivery and coordination, utilising high level written and oral communication skills.
- Monitor and report of clinical practice and outcomes within the clinical service area, and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of mental health services.
