About the role

This is an opportunity to step into an established caseload rather than build one from scratch. On day one you will inherit an engaged book of therapy and assessment clients, primarily children and adolescents, with the support you need to make the transition smooth for both you and the families. Over the next 12 to 24 months, as the practice expands its adult and parent-focused work, there is genuine scope to shape your caseload around your clinical interests.

Whether that is moving into adult ADHD or autism assessment, developing a parent-focused stream, deepening trauma informed practice, or building an assessment specialty.

Key responsibilities

- Provide individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults
- Conduct comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, including autism, ADHD, cognitive, educational, and learning disorder assessments
- Deliver parent coaching and family-focused work
- Conduct clinic, telehealth and outreach services
- Manage warm handover of existing caseload with clinical and practice support
- Maintain independent report writing and clinical documentation
- Work 3 to 5 days per week (negotiable)

About you

- Full AHPRA registration as a psychologist with area of practice endorsement in Clinical or Educational and Developmental Psychology (or eligibility for the Clinical or E&D; Registrar program)
- Master or Doctorate in Clinical, Educational and Developmental, or related psychology discipline
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults including neurodevelopmental presentations
- Current National Police Record Check
- Current Employment Working with Children Check
- Driver's Licence
- Member, or Eligible for membership of one of the following:



Australian Psychological Society (APS), The Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi)
- Confident in independent report writing and clinical documentation
- Warm, professional and confident communication skills
