About the role The Clinical Quality Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all residents' care, quality audits and control processes, regulatory compliance, care documentation, and clinical quality indicators. This role provides leadership, supervision, and support to RNs &

- PCWs, actively participating in human resource functions including recruitment, performance management, and staff development. Additionally, the role acts as a role model to staff by demonstrating respect and compassion in the delivery of care to residents in an environment that is safe and comforting.

Key responsibilities

- Demonstrate working knowledge of relevant Acts and Regulations, Quality Standards &
- Duty of Care

- Display leadership, initiative and managerial skills in Clinical Care, Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance

- Oversee and assist management with delivering services to residents

- Implement systems of continuous improvement pertaining to all aspects of care and service delivery, which meet standards of Accreditation and validation

- Supervise and assist all nursing staff in delivery of direct and indirect resident care





- Monitor, coordinate and conduct appropriate assessments for residents in relation to care needs

- Develop and review care plans ensuring they reflect resident needs; identify improvements and strategies

- Identify and action changes to residents' health status (assessments, reporting, escalation)

Mentor and manage the performance of all clinical staff including the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, managing performance evaluations, addressing employee relations, and driving ongoing career development and staff training initiatives

- Oversee the Infection Control Program and monitor and report on the Quality Indicator &
- Care Program

About you

- Current Registration with AHPRA Nurses Registration

- ACPC Foundations of Infection Prevention &
- Control Certificate (or equivalent)

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

- Interpersonal & leadership skills

- Computer skills

- Knowledge and understanding of the Standards in Aged Care
