About us:

Pioneer Clinical Research is a dedicated private Clinical Trials site located centrally in North Sydney. We conduct a diverse range of trials in multiple therapeutic areas, from Phase 1 through to Phase 4 and hoping to find someone who is a valuable fit for our growing team.

In this role, you will conduct medical assessments, monitor participant safety, provide clinical care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support our research studies.

Your key role is in participant safety, medical oversight and the development of new therapies.

Potential opportunities to progress into Principal Investigator will be supported through ongoing learning and mentoring by our team.

Key responsibilities

- Leading the informed consent process and conducting medical assessments to determine participant suitability for clinical trials.
- Monitoring the health and wellbeing of trial participants throughout study participation.
- Providing medical care and clinical oversight to healthy volunteers and patients involved in our clinical trials.
- Reviewing, interpreting and signing off diagnostic test results and other clinical data.
- Working collaboratively with study coordinators, healthcare providers and investigators to successfully deliver clinical trials.
- Acting as a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.




- Contributing to the generation of high-quality clinical data that supports the development of new medicines and therapies.

· Oversight of training log, delegation log and study specific training of all staff on trial. · Maintaining adequate records (in Investigator Site File) of each trial subjects participation including all investigations, adverse events, safety reports/issues, changes to the research/unanticipated risk, protocol deviations, final reporting at end of study.

Requirements

- AHPRA Registration: Full General Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner with no restrictions.
- Interest in Clinical Research: You are curious about medical innovation and excited by the opportunity to contribute to the development of new treatments.
- Cooperative Approach: You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: Able to build rapport with participants and work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Availability: Available to work 2 to 3 days per week across a 7-day rotating roster.

All offers of employment are conditional upon:

- Right to work verification.
- Vaccination compliance, including Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR and Pertussis, with serological testing for all participant-facing and sample-facing roles.

Pay: $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
