People Connect is looking to connect with experienced Azure Cloud Architects / Cloud Engineers for a 3-year Federal Government engagement in Canberra.

? Role Details

? Canberra – Hybrid

?️ Baseline Clearance or above

?? Australian Citizens may be considered for clearance

? Start: 19 October 2026

⏳ 12 months + 24-month extension

? EL1 Level

⏰ 40 hours per week

? What you’ll be working on

You’ll be involved in designing and delivering enterprise-level Microsoft Azure and M365 solutions , providing architecture guidance and working closely with technical and business teams.

Key areas include

- Azure solution and platform architecture
- Azure App Services, Functions & Logic Apps
- Azure SQL, Service Bus & API Management
- Azure DevOps, IaC & CI/CD
- Microsoft Entra ID & Azure Key Vault
- Azure Monitor & Application Insights
- Azure networking, Private Endpoints, VNets & RBAC
- Cloud security, identity and integration

• Integration with third-party platforms, including Dynamics 365 CRM





- Enterprise and application architecture
- Technical guidance, impact analysis and solution design
- Working with architects, developers, BAs, Scrum Masters, testers and business stakeholders

? What we’re looking for

✔️ 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience

✔️ Strong experience implementing and managing cloud solutions

✔️ 3+ years designing/documenting architecture for complex enterprise environments

✔️ Strong understanding of cloud architecture and integration

✔️ Experience providing technical leadership across projects and operations

✔️ Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence technical decisions

AWS/GCP experience is desirable but not mandatory.
