About the Role

We are seeking skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operators to join our team at our Edinburgh facility, with multiple positions available across our sheet metal production operations. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

- CO2 Laser Operator – Operating a Prima CNC laser cutting machine.
- Turret Punch Operator – Operating a Trumpf CNC turret punch machine.
- Brake Press Operator – Operating CNC sheet metal brake press machinery.

In these roles, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure precision, quality and efficiency throughout the production process. You will contribute to the delivery of products and services that meet our customers' specified requirements, ensuring quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Operating CNC machinery relevant to your position, including laser cutting, turret punching or brake press equipment.
- Setting up machinery and completing production tasks in accordance with job specifications.
- Maintaining consistent, high-quality output and ensuring finished products meet required standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications.
- Materials handling, including loading and unloading materials.
- Maintaining accurate records for all jobs and production activities.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.




- Working collaboratively with the production team to ensure effective workflow and timely completion of projects.

Skills and Qualifications Required

- Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a sheet metal or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating a CO2 laser, Trumpf turret punch or CNC brake press, relevant to the position being applied for.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift licence desirable

Previous experience in machine programming and setup will be highly regarded.
