Summerland Sporties Club is a proud community-focused venue and sister club to Doyalson Wyee RSL Club. We’re a welcoming, family-friendly club where members, guests and the local community come first.

With 18 gaming machines, contract catering, a kid-friendly outdoor space and a strong community focus, Sporties offers a more relaxed and personal club environment while still providing the opportunity to lead a team and make a real impact.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys hospitality and leadership but is ready to move away from the pace and demands of a larger, high-volume venue.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of Summerland Sporties Club and help deliver a welcoming experience for our members and guests.

This role would suit an experienced Licensee, Venue Manager, Duty Manager or Club Supervisor who is looking to step into a smaller, more community-focused venue with a more manageable operating environment and no late-night trading.

You’ll have the opportunity to use your hospitality and leadership experience while enjoying a role that offers a different pace and a strong connection with the local community.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the club across bar, gaming, catering and customer service
- Lead, support and motivate the team to deliver a consistently high standard of service




- Ensure the venue is presented to a high standard and provides a welcoming environment for members and families
- Support staff training, development and performance
- Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, club policies and relevant legislation
- Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Support rostering, stock control and general operational requirements
- Liaise with our contract catering provider to ensure a positive member and guest experience
- Oversee gaming operations and ensure compliance requirements are maintained
- Build strong relationships with members, guests, staff and the local community

About You We’re looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience in a supervisory, duty management, venue management or licensee role
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
- The ability to build positive relationships with staff, members and the community
- Sound knowledge of RSA, RCG and club compliance requirements
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A calm, professional and approachable manner
- Current RSA & RCG(essential)
- Availability to work a flexible roster including nights and weekends with every second weekend off
