THE OPPORTUNITY

Viva Leisure - parent company to Club Lime and one of Australia's leading fitness brands - is seeking a dynamic Cluster Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, to support our clubs in South Canberra. This is an internal opportunity open to current Club Lime Club Managers based in South Canberra. Founded in 2004, Viva Leisure operates an extensive network of fitness clubs across the health and leisure industry. As the largest independent health club operator in Australia, and the first fitness facility operator to list on the ASX, we continue to expand with a strong trajectory of growth and innovation.

Working closely with the Area Manager, you'll contribute to major initiatives from new club launches to exciting refurbishments while ensuring operational excellence across your cluster.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

- Strong leadership capability with experience guiding managers and teams across multiple locations.
- Confident decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills in fast-paced environments.
- A commitment to operational excellence, process optimisation, and maintaining high safety and presentation standards.
- A deep understanding of customer experience, member retention, and service delivery in a competitive fitness market.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships.
- Proven experience planning and delivering projects such as refurbishments, new club openings, or major operational initiatives.
- Adaptability, innovation, and a continuous improvement mindset, embracing new technologies and evolving business needs.
- Strong industry knowledge, including compliance, safety protocols, fitness programming, and equipment management.
- Financial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimisation.
- Demonstrated success achieving KPIs related to growth, performance, and member satisfaction.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing teams,



including succession planning and identifying future leaders.
- Background in managing daily operations as well as navigating change, challenges, or crises.
- Collaborative, values-driven behaviour with professionalism and integrity at the forefront.

Qualifications:

- First Aid (Essential)
- CPR Certificate (Essential)
- Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Fitness (Desirable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive financial performance by identifying membership growth opportunities and supporting revenue and budget optimisation across all clubs.
- Lead an exceptional member experience through strong sales coaching, effective CRM management, and proactive handling of enquiries, onboarding, and community engagement.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, equipment upkeep, policy compliance, and continuous improvement across all sites.
- Provide proactive people leadership, including recruiting, rostering, coaching, performance management, and developing future leaders within the cluster.
- Oversee fitness operations by supporting Personal Trainers with onboarding and business growth, managing PT lead pipelines, and delivering high-quality Group Fitness offerings through effective scheduling and instructor recruitment.
