Butch Bennett Crash Repairs is our Smiths Bodyshops collision repair centre in Clare, proudly serving the local community and surrounding region. Smiths Bodyshops operates across Clare, Port Adelaide and Port Augusta as part of the One SMG Group.

Smiths Bodyshops is the largest regional multi-site collision repair operator in South Australia and a preferred and approved repairer for all major insurers. We are also approved by the RAA and Motor Trade Association (MTA) SA/NT.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Collision Repair Manager to lead our Clare operation at Butch Bennett Crash Repairs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong collision repair industry experience who is ready to take ownership of the day-to-day workshop operations. You will play a key role in leading the team, coordinating workflow, maintaining quality standards and ensuring we continue to deliver a great experience for our customers.

Your Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Leading, supporting and motivating the workshop team
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the collision repair centre
- Planning and coordinating workflow to ensure jobs progress efficiently
- Monitoring repair timelines, productivity and workshop performance
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety and quality requirements
- Working closely with customers, insurers, suppliers and other stakeholders
- Managing job scheduling, priorities and repair deadlines
- Identifying and resolving issues that may impact workflow or customer delivery
- Supporting the ongoing training, development and performance of team members
- Maintaining a safe,



organized and professional workshop environment
- Contributing to the overall performance and profitability of the business

About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a collision repair management, workshop management or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge and experience within the collision repair, smash repair or automotive body repair industry
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong planning, organizational and workflow management abilities
- A high standard of attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence dealing with customers, insurers, suppliers and team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a busy environment
- A practical, hands-on and team-focused approach to leadership
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
