Karndean Designflooring is a leading provider of premium luxury vinyl tile, recognised for beautifully designed flooring solutions that combine creativity, performance and enduring quality.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Business Manager to grow Karndean’s presence across Western Australia. This is a home-based role for a proactive business developer who enjoys opening doors, building trusted relationships and turning specifications into successful commercial outcomes. And there's an attractive remuneration package (base, super, bonus and fully maintained vehicle) for the successful candidate.

Working across the architecture and design, flooring contractor and end-user channels, you will develop a strong pipeline of opportunities and position Karndean as a flooring solutions provider, rather than simply a product supplier.

The opportunity

You will take ownership of Karndean’s commercial growth across WA by:

- Building and managing relationships with architects, designers, developers, flooring contractors and commercial end users
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across key commercial sectors
- Developing account strategies and a strong specification pipeline
- Managing opportunities from initial engagement through to specification, value management and order
- Presenting compelling flooring solutions that respond to customer and project needs
- Maintaining strong visibility of pipeline health, conversion, KPIs and revenue forecasts
- Using CRM, market intelligence and commercial data to prioritise activity and improve results
- Collaborating with Strategic Account Managers and colleagues across sales, marketing, product, supply chain and customer support
- Representing Karndean at relevant industry events and building strong networks within the WA market.





About you You are a confident relationship builder with a genuine new-business mindset. You know how to create momentum, manage a territory and maintain focus from first conversation through to commercial outcome.

Ideally, you will bring:

- At least three years’ experience in B2B commercial sales within building products, commercial construction, flooring or the architecture and design channel
- Experience driving specifications with architects, designers, developers or end users
- A proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts
- Strong commercial judgement and confidence managing sales pipelines, targets and forecasts
- The ability to understand technical products and clearly communicate their value
- Established networks within the WA construction, design or related commercial sectors
- Strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A disciplined approach to CRM, reporting and follow-through
- The ability to work autonomously from a home office while collaborating closely with a national team
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and AI
- A current valid driver’s licence.
