Commercial Insurance Broker / Account Manager - Shielded Insurance, Fortitude Valley

Shielded Insurance is growing, and we're looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker or Account Manager to join our Brisbane team, based full-time in our Fortitude Valley office.

This is a career-building opportunity to develop your own book of business across Commercial Insurance. PI, PL, SME Business Package, Property, Commercial Motor/ Transport and more.

What's on offer

- Base salary negotiable, based on experience
- 40% commission on New Business
- Renew your own accounts from year two, earning 20% commission on renewals
- Genuine earning potential; average earn is 130k, some of our brokers are earning $200k-250k+
- Full support from our Admin, Client Services and Claims teams, so you can focus on what you do best: winning new business and renewing your clients.





What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Commercial Insurance
- Tier 1 qualification preferred
- Insurance sales experience with a strong focus on targets and performance
- Insurance broking experience across new business or renewals

Recent-business broking experience is ideal . We'd also consider a renewals broker genuinely motivated to transition into new business. Someone comfortable prospecting, building a portfolio, and working in an environment where commission and income growth are key drivers. Interested?
