This is an opportunity to work closely with an ex-large national firm partner and experienced practitioners on a broad range of commercial disputes. You will have genuine exposure to all stages of the litigation process and the opportunity to develop your skills in a small, focused team environment.

The Role : While always provided with appropriate guidance and support, you will take responsibility for your own work while collaborating closely with senior lawyers on more complex matters. Your responsibilities include:

- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, correspondence, submissions, and other legal documents
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Assisting with court and tribunal matters, including preparation for hearings and mediations
- Reviewing and analysing evidence and documents
- Liaising with clients, barristers, courts,



and other parties
- Assisting senior lawyers with case preparation and strategy
- Attending client conferences, mediations and court hearings as required
- Managing matter files and ensuring key dates and deadlines are met.

The Person: This position would be best suited to a lawyer with approximately 2-5 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation. Admission to practice in Australia, with no current supervision requirement, is essential. Importantly, we are looking for a lawyer with a can-do attitude and common sense, who is able to work autonomously but also enjoys collaboration.
