Urban Set is seeking an experienced Commercial Setter to join our growing ceilings and partitions team.

We work across high-quality commercial construction and fitout projects and are looking for someone who takes pride in their finish, works efficiently, and can operate confidently as part of an experienced site team.

You will be responsible for setting and finishing plasterboard on commercial projects, working alongside our plasterers, carpenters, supervisors and project teams.

Your work will include

- Setting plasterboard walls and ceilings
- Taping, base coating and finishing joints
- Internal and external angles
- Cornice and associated finishing works where required
- Patch and repair work
- Preparing surfaces to a high standard ready for painting
- Working from site plans and supervisor instructions
- Maintaining a clean and secure work area
- Assisting with general plastering and site duties when required

About You

We are looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience as a commercial plasterboard setter




- Can consistently achieve a high-quality finish
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work productively without constant supervision
- Understands commercial construction site requirements
- Works well within a team and communicates effectively with supervisors
- Takes pride in their workmanship and productivity
- Is willing to work across different commercial projects (mainly Brisbane CBD)

You will require a Construction White Card. Relevant trade qualifications are preferred but proven commercial setting experience is equally important.
