About the role
Reporting to the General Manager – Regional Impact and Activation, you will lead RAI's communications strategy, media engagement and advocacy efforts while providing high-level communications support to the CEO.
Key responsibilities
- Developing and delivering RAI's communications and media strategy.
- Building strong relationships with journalists, editors and key stakeholders.
- Translating research and policy insights into compelling media stories and public content.
- Leading key publications, newsletters, thought leadership content and media releases.
- Supporting the CEO through speeches, presentations, opinion pieces, briefs and stakeholder messaging.
- Driving communications for major events, partnerships and advocacy campaigns.
About you
- Experience in communications, public affairs, media, advocacy or strategic stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
- Strong media relations experience with a track record of securing coverage and building influence.
- The ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Robust stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for purpose-driven work and creating real impact through effective communications.
