- Based within the Rangers Services team located at the City of Vincent Library
- Salary Range $92,563-$103,506 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience

About the Role The Community Safety Liaison Officer is responsible for facilitating the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the City's Safer Vincent Plan. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will deliver community safety initiatives, coordinate partnerships,



support evidence-based decision making and contribute to strategies that enhance the safety and wellbeing of the Vincent community.

What we’re Looking For The successful candidate will have:

- Demonstrated experience in community safety, community development, crime prevention or a related field
- Robust understanding of community safety principles and capacity building practices
- Proven ability to develop, implement and evaluate community-focused projects and programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and provide recommendations
- Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills
- Experience analysing information and preparing reports and submissions
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Local government experience, or experience in working with diverse and marginalised communities will be highly regarded
