We are looking for dedicated Qualified and Experienced Community Support Professional to join our caring and energetic team and provide high-quality in-home support services to our valued customers.

About us:

Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community. Our friendly, compassionate and experienced team makes this possible. We are based on the Sunshine Coast and have participants and SIL's from Bribie Island to Bundaberg.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Personal care
- Meal Preparation or assistance
- Manual handling (desired)
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Medication assistance (desired)
- Social support and Transportation to maintain community connection
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress every shift
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs




- Assisted daily living and Capacity-building routines
- Genuinely interest in supporting people to achieve their goals & actively engaging with participants rather than completing rostered tasks

About you:

- Caring, compassionate & friendly
- Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
- Reliable & Attentive
- Assisted daily living and Capacity-building routines
- Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
- Comfortable using technology (i.e.mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording progress notes/feedback
- Understanding that Health & Wellbeing changes and keep up-to date on ever changing care plans
- Ability to take Initiative & have a Proactive approach to in-home care

What you will need:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Mandatory)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Manual Handling & Medication experience
- Current First Aid certificate and CPR
- Current Australian Driver's License
- Reliable, Registered, and Insured vehicle
- Smart phone with Internet Access
