Female Support Worker – Hamilton Hill

West Coast Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Support Worker to provide ongoing support to a participant relocating to an SDA home in Hamilton Hill.

About the Role The participant enjoys:

- Support with community access and participation
- Music and social activities
- Attending cafés and community outings
- Spending time with family and maintaining strong family connections

Shift Times:

- Monday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
- Friday: 9:30am – 3:30pm

About You We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, reliable and patient
- Confident supporting a person with complex support needs
- Experienced in disability support
- Comfortable supporting a wheelchair user in the community
- Able to access a suitable vehicle capable of safely accommodating and transporting a wheelchair
- Willing to complete required seizure management training
- Committed to person-centred support and building a positive, respectful relationship
- Confident with professional documentation and reporting

Support Needs Experience or confidence supporting individuals with the following would be highly regarded:
- Intellectual disability
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Dysphagia
- Falls risk
- History of fractures and osteoporosis
- Wheelchair use and community access
- Complex or high-support care needs

Essential Requirements
- Female Support Worker
- Fluent English with explicit verbal and written communication skills




- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health or a related field
- Completion of all 4 NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Modules
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including 3 doses
- Previous experience working in complex care/high-support settings

Pay: $45.27 – $45.28 per hour
