As our Compliance Adviser - Breach Management, you’ll support the effective operation of NGM Group’s breach management framework by assessing compliance incidents, preparing regulatory reports, and monitoring remediation. Working with senior Compliance team members and business stakeholders, you’ll help deliver timely, accurate advice and support consistent, continuously improving breach management practices.

The role provides an opportunity to build your compliance knowledge and capability across incident assessment, regulatory reporting, remediation, governance, and stakeholder advisory, while contributing to the broader implementation of NGM Group’s compliance management framework.

What Success Looks Like

- Assess compliance incidents accurately and promptly using approved frameworks, regulatory guidance, and relevant precedents, escalating complex or novel matters for review.
- Assist with preparing complete and accurate breach reports and regulatory submissions within required timeframes and internal approval requirements.
- Monitor incident, breach, and remediation actions, maintain reliable records, and follow up with stakeholders to support completion within agreed timeframes.
- Analyse breach data and industry benchmarks to identify emerging trends, systemic risks, and practical improvement opportunities.
- Support customer remediation by coordinating information, documenting decisions and outcomes, and monitoring actions through to completion.
- Provide clear and practical compliance guidance to business teams that supports consistent incident management and breach reporting.
- Assist with reporting and communications for management, governance forums, auditors, and regulators.
- Support the continuous improvement of breach management frameworks and processes,



including identifying opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the implementation of NGM Group’s compliance management framework and promote a positive compliance culture and awareness of compliance obligations across the organisation.

What You'll Bring

- A degree or higher qualification in business, finance, commerce, law, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to research unfamiliar topics, review information from multiple sources, and identify key issues and insights.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and professional reports, papers, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
- A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, spot inconsistencies, and produce high-quality work.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build positive working relationships across the business and collaborate with a wide range of people.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications and digital tools, including Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled technologies, to support research, analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
- A curious and proactive mindset, with a willingness to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and continuously learn.
- An interest in compliance, risk, regulation, and how organisations make good decisions and achieve positive customer outcomes.
