The successful applicant will play an important role in preparing and producing high-quality food, while maintaining our standards of freshness, consistency and presentation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and quality standardsAssist with daily kitchen operations and food preparationMaintain high standards of food presentation and portion controlPrepare fresh ingredients and house-made products, including pastries and cakesFollow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirementsAssist with stock management,



ordering and kitchen organisationWork collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teamsThursday's fresh produce market pick up weekly 6am Brisbane (use of company vehicle) must have open licenseAvailability for catering and dinner pop up events when requiredSkills and Experience RequiredRelevant commercial cookery qualifications - Certificate IV Commercial Cookery and Certificate IV in Patisserie, preferredPrevious experience working in pastry and service Chef positions in a professional kitchen setting, 3 yrs full time min.Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operationsAbility to work independently and efficiently during busy service periods, and under pressureStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityRelevant Food Safety Supervisor CertificateAbility to work a weekly roster Wed to Sun 7am - 3.30pm approximately, and public holidays when required.
