About the role

We are seeking a skilled Concreter / Steel Fixer to join the Vazeki Contracting team in Albany WA 6330. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. You will be responsible for the preparation, installation and finishing of concrete and steel reinforcement, ensuring all work meets our high standards for quality, safety and durability.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst contributing directly to the structural integrity and completion of buildings and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and set up work areas, including formwork installation and steel reinforcement placement
- Install and secure steel reinforcement (rebar) according to specifications and site plans
- Mix, pour and finish concrete to the required standards and specifications
- Level,



grade and finish concrete surfaces to achieve smooth and even finishes
- Operate concrete-related equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect concrete and steel work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and site personnel
- Assist with site tidiness and removal of waste materials
