Xing Fa Aluminium Australia Pty Ltd, trading as Hi Style Aluminium Windows & Doors, is a Sydney-based provider of double-glazed windows and doors, with the capacity to supply customers across Australia. Based in Silverwater, Sydney, the business provides a range of aluminium-framed double-glazed window and door products for residential and commercial projects, including houses, apartments and commercial buildings.

Hi Style operates with its own manufacturing base in China and works with developers, contractors, architects, designers and homeowners to provide window and door products tailored to project requirements. The business has a strong focus on product quality, technical consultation, customer service and after-sales support.

We are now looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to provide estimating and cost planning support for our projects, working closely with builders, suppliers, subcontractors and other relevant project stakeholders. This is a full-time chance for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable professional.

Location: Silverwater, NSW The Role

As a Construction Estimator, you are responsible for preparing and providing estimates and cost plans for construction projects through to the tender settlement stage, reviewing project requirements, assessing project costs and supporting the negotiation and settlement of project tenders.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

· Prepare, develop and provide detailed project estimates and cost plans throughout the tender process, from initial costing through to tender settlement.

· Review and interpret project plans, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements, undertake quantity take-offs, prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs,



and estimate project timeframes where required.

· Prepare and update installation drawings and other relevant project drawings as required to support project estimating and installation requirements.

· Conduct site visits to collect relevant information and assess site and project conditions that may affect project costs, resource requirements and estimates.

· Research and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, compare and assess pricing, and incorporate relevant costs into project estimates and tenders.

· Liaise with builders, suppliers, subcontractors and other relevant project stakeholders to clarify project requirements, scope of works and technical details required for preparing estimates and tenders.

· Assist with the preparation and finalisation of project tenders, including preparing, reviewing and updating estimates where project scope, drawings, specifications, quantities or pricing change.

· Provide project administration support as required in connection with estimating activities.

Experience

· A relevant qualification in Construction, Building, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field, at Australian Diploma level or higher.

· At least 1 year of relevant experience

Skills required

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple site activities

· Knowledge of construction costs, procurement processes and project budgeting

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
