About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead construction performance across MIRA’s off-site build program, overseeing the Yard Supervisor, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure homes are built safely, efficiently, on time and to the quality standard MIRA is known for. You’ll operate at the intersection of construction leadership, performance, quality, safety, cost control and continuous improvement.

You’ll be responsible for leading the construction department, building strong operating discipline and ensuring the off-site build program is delivered safely, efficiently and to MIRA’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the construction function across MIRA’s off-site build program.
- Oversee the Yard Supervisor and ensure yard activity supports program, quality, safety and cost outcomes.
- Monitor build performance across multiple homes, identifying risks, bottlenecks, incomplete items and rework early.
- Build and maintain a reliable subcontractor and supplier base to support production growth.
- Provide visible leadership on safety, quality, communication and accountability.
- Support construction reporting, forecasting, capacity planning and continuous improvement.
- Maintain explicit construction reporting, planning and communication across the off-site build program.




- Work closely with the General Manager and internal teams to resolve construction risks, improve performance and keep builds moving.

About You You’re an experienced construction leader who understands residential building, knows how to get the best out of people and can balance safety, quality, program and commercial outcomes. You may be ready to step up from a senior supervisory role, or you may already be leading construction, production or modular build teams and want the opportunity to have a more direct impact in a growing business. You'll bring:

- Minimum 8 years' experience within residential construction.
- Experience within modular, off-site or lightweight construction advantageous but not essential.
- Trade qualification, with carpentry or similar highly regarded.
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction or Registered Builder highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong understanding of WA construction standards and NCC requirements.
- Experience coordinating subcontract trades and suppliers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
