We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Service Technician to join our Melbourne Service Team. Over 4 years, you’ll develop practical skills and technical knowledge alongside experience technicians, while completing your formal TAFE training.

What you’ll be doing

As an Apprentice Service Technician, you’ll learn to service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of construction machinery and equipment.

- A 4-year apprenticeship working towards completing a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
- Hands on experience working with construction and earthmoving machinery alongside experienced technicians.

- An introductory toolkit to get you started – complete your apprenticeship with CDA and the toolkit is yours to keep.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to learn and wants to build a long-term career as a Service Technician. You’ll bring:

- A genuine interest in machinery and mechanical systems.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work safely, follow instructions and ask questions.




- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, initiative and attention to detail.
- A C Class driver's licence (P Plates acceptable), or willingness to obtain one.

Previous experience in mechanics, machinery, construction, a workshop workplace or a pre-apprenticeship course will be highly regarded.
