Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.

The Team & Role The Consumer Participation Program Manager provides leadership in the development, implementation and operational management of Bayside Health Peninsula’s Consumer Participation Program. Reporting to the Consumer Engagement and Experience Lead, this role works collaboratively across the organisation to promote, support and embed consumer participation in service planning, development and evaluation activities. Working closely with consumer advisors, advisory groups and key stakeholders, the role drives meaningful community engagement and co-design initiatives,



while ensuring the successful delivery of the Consumer Engagement Framework.

The position is also responsible for consumer participation governance, reporting, accreditation requirements and fostering strong partnerships that enhance person-centred care and service excellence across Bayside Health Peninsula.

Skills & Experience Required

- Recent experience in a healthcare setting, working with consumers
- Experience in consumer engagement activities including co-design or co-production
- Relevant post-secondary qualifications
- Experience in developing and implementing clinical safety and quality initiatives
Experience in planning and implementing accreditation programs (desirable)
