Applicants must be based in Sydney or Greater Sydney and available for face-to-face delivery across metropolitan Sydney.

Aptitude Management is expanding its Sydney trainer network and is seeking experienced corporate trainers and facilitators with strong leadership, management and Learning & Development experience.

We are not simply looking for presenters.

Our trainers can be involved across the full learning journey - from scheduled public workshops through to customised corporate training and multi-session leadership development programs.

THE OPPORTUNITY

- Deliver established Aptitude Management workshops from our public training schedule.
- Deliver customised leadership and management workshops for organisational clients.
- Facilitate broader and multi-session management-development programs.
- Liaise professionally with organisational bookers before training.
- Communicate with participants where required as part of workshop preparation.
- Understand each client's workplace setting, terminology and participant needs.
- Work with our team to appropriately customise approved content, scenarios and examples.
- Facilitate practical, highly participative workplace learning rather than simply presenting slides.
- Help participants connect learning to real management situations and workplace responsibilities.
- Contribute to approved post-training reinforcement and learning-transfer activities.
- Provide useful post-workshop observations and feedback to our team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Substantial corporate or organisational training and facilitation experience.
- Practical leadership and management expertise, including areas such as frontline management, supervision, delegation, accountability, performance management, coaching, feedback, difficult conversations, conflict,



communication and emotional intelligence.
- Experience in Learning & Development, organisational development, workplace training or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally with organisational clients, managers, supervisors and emerging leaders.
- An engaging facilitation style that encourages discussion, participation and workplace application.
- The ability to work within established programs while adapting examples and discussions appropriately to the client context.
- Strong preparation, responsiveness, reliability and attention to detail.
- Confidence delivering both face-to-face and virtual workshops.

DISC FAMILIARITY

- Familiarity with DISC behavioural profiling is required.
- You should be comfortable discussing behavioural styles, communication preferences and the practical workplace application of DISC concepts with participants.
- Formal DISC or Everything DiSC accreditation/certification is highly regarded.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT

- You must be based in Sydney or Greater Sydney and available for face-to-face delivery across the Sydney metropolitan area.

- Virtual delivery capability is also required.

NATURE OF THE ENGAGEMENT

Engagements are offered on an independent-contractor basis according to client requirements, subject-matter fit, trainer capability and availability. No minimum volume of work is guaranteed.

Successful applicants will be required to satisfy Aptitude Management's contractor onboarding and compliance requirements before being offered training engagements.
