Applus+ is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join the team as the primary interface between Applus+ and a leading global Oil & Gas operator.

This exciting and pivotal role is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring the successful delivery of inspection and integrity services across a major contract. Working closely with the Applus+ leadership team and site-based personnel across onshore and offshore facilities in Victoria, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, commercial performance, and HSEQ outcomes.

This is a site-based role located in Victoria. Applicants must currently reside in the region or be willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management & Compliance

- Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, client requirements, regulatory standards, and Applus+ policies and procedures.
- Manage contract deliverables, reporting requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Act as the primary point of contact between Applus+ and the client, fostering a strong and collaborative partnership.

Operational & Technical Oversight

- Oversee the delivery of NDT and inspection services, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and efficiency.
- Drive the implementation of best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and innovative inspection technologies.
- Coordinate closely with site supervisors, inspectors, and technicians to maintain high service standards across all operations.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

- Champion a robust safety culture aligned with both Applus+ and client HSEQ expectations.
- Ensure personnel comply with site-specific safety procedures, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor risks and implement corrective actions to support safe and effective operations.

Financial & Commercial Management

- Manage contract budgets,



financial forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to optimise contract performance, improve margins, and expand service offerings.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, financial reporting, and commercial governance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Client Relations

- Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives, project teams, and key stakeholders.
- Lead client meetings and provide regular updates on safety, performance, and contract delivery.
- Proactively address challenges and develop solutions that enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Leadership & Workforce Management

- Lead and support a team of supervisors, inspectors, and technicians, promoting a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Coordinate workforce planning, training, onboarding, and competency development.
- Foster collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement within the team.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the Oil & Gas, inspection, or industrial services sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of NDT and inspection services, including relevant industry standards and practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in HSEQ within high-risk operational environments.
- Sound commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and contract performance.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.




- Experience leading operational teams, including workforce planning and competency development.
- Knowledge of major Oil & Gas operator requirements and safety systems will be highly regarded.
