About the Role

As a Conveyor Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out conveyor maintenance, inspections, repairs and component replacements across mining conveyor systems in the Pilbara.

Depending on your level of experience, you may work under supervision or independently, with senior technicians also providing technical guidance and leading small maintenance crews.

Key responsibilities include:

- Removing and replacing carrying, return, impact and training rollers
- Removing and replacing roller frames and idler assemblies
- Inspecting, replacing and adjusting primary and secondary scrapers
- Maintaining and troubleshooting belt cleaning systems
- Identifying conveyor defects and reporting corrective actions
- Assisting with belt tracking and conveyor performance issues
- Reading maintenance work orders and inspection reports
- Completing routine conveyor maintenance without direct supervision
- Working safely in shutdown, confined space and working-at-heights environments

About You To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Certificate II or III in Conveyor Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent industry experience
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Working at Heights certification
- Confined Space Entry certification
- Previous experience working in shutdown environments
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Australian Working Rights

Highly Desirable The following qualifications, experience and competencies will be highly regarded:

- BHP or Rio Tinto site inductions
- EWP Licence
- Forklift Licence




- Basic Rigging Licence
- Telehandler experience/licence
- First Aid certification
- Conveyor belt maintenance, including roller, frame, pulley and drive component change-outs
- Bearing installation and alignment
- Experience with crushers, stackers and reclaimers
