About the role

Southern Vales Legal is seeking a recently qualified or experienced Conveyancer or Solicitor to join our team. This is a full-time role with flexible working arrangements, including the ability to work from home, with access to our McLaren Vale and Victor Harbor offices as required for client appointments, meetings and other work needs.

We have a loyal and growing client base and an established flow of conveyancing and property work. We are looking for someone who can manage matters independently, provide excellent service to clients and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Depending on the successful candidate, the role may focus primarily on conveyancing or include broader property-related and general legal work.

An existing client or referral base would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Key responsibilities

- Managing residential, commercial and other conveyancing matters through to settlement
- Maintaining accurate files, records and correspondence
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, settlement documents and adjustments
- Conducting property searches and identifying issues requiring attention
- Managing electronic settlements through PEXA
- Maintaining matter information in LEAP and other systems
- Liaising confidently with clients, agents, lenders, brokers, solicitors and other stakeholders
- Monitoring key dates, finance conditions, searches and settlement requirements
- Providing clear,



practical advice to clients
- For a Solicitor, undertaking related property and general legal work alongside conveyancing matters
