Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with daily food preparation, including cutting, portioning, marinating and preparation of ingredients.
- Ensure food is prepared and cooked safely, consistently and to the required standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, cooking equipment and food preparation areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Monitor food quality, freshness and portion control.
- Assist with receiving, storing and rotating food supplies.
- Work efficiently with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Assist with menu preparation and other kitchen duties as required.

CHEF – 1

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare and cook a range of dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations and ensure timely preparation of meals.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, stocks and other components required for service.




- Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet the required quality standards.
- Maintain consistent portion sizes, recipes and food quality.
- Monitor food supplies, stock levels and ingredient quality.
- Assist with ordering and inventory management to ensure adequate kitchen supplies.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Supervise and assist kitchen staff during food preparation and service where required.
- Train and support junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation and safe work practices.
- Monitor food costs and minimise wastage where possible.
- Assist with menu planning, specials and recipe development as required.

Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
