About the role The Coordinator is responsible for the provision of leadership, supervision and consultation to other staff, students and volunteers in the team, as well as ensuring high-quality case work and service support to young people transitioning from State care. You will also need to:

- Provide a satisfactory current National Police Clearance
- A current Working with Children Card
- Demonstrate your understanding of ‘child safe’ environment
- Provide a current WA C Class Driver’s Licence

About you The successful candidate will hold qualifications in human services or equivalent and demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Proven relevant experience in working with young people, preferably with those who have experienced the out of home care system
- Experience in leadership and supervision of staff, students and volunteers
- Demonstrated ability to work with young people to develop independent life skills that are culturally and developmentally appropriate
- Training/experience in dealing with mental illness, disabilities, child protection, domestic violence and/or substance abuse
