Trippas White Group (TWG) is looking for experienced and reliable Cooks to join the kitchen team at Terrace on the Domain, one of Sydney’s iconic hospitality venues located within the Royal Botanic Garden.

Terrace on the Domain caters for a diverse range of guests and functions, from daily café and restaurant service through to weddings, corporate events, private functions and large-scale celebrations.

About the Role

We are looking for motivated Cooks who enjoy working in a busy kitchen environment and take pride in producing quality food consistently.

You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service, high food standards and a clean, organised kitchen.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, punctual and able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard
- Follow recipes, presentation standards and portion controls
- Assist with preparation and mise en place for daily service and events
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist other members of the kitchen team when required
- Help with stock rotation, storage and general kitchen duties
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to TWG standards

About You We are looking for someone who:




- Has previous experience working as a Cook in a restaurant, café, hotel or events environment
- Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality
- Is reliable and punctual
- Can work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Has a solid work ethic and positive attitude
- Works well as part of a team
- Has good communication skills
- Takes pride in food quality, presentation and consistency
- Understands food safety and hygiene requirements
- Is willing to help wherever required in the kitchen

Experience working in events, functions or high-volume kitchens will be highly regarded.

Availability

You must be available to work a flexible roster, including:

- Weekdays
- Weekends
- Public holidays
- Day and evening shifts
- Christmas and New Year's Eve when required

Pay: $34.96 – $69.93 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 38.0 per week
