About the role

Are you passionate about creating public open spaces that improve community wellbeing?





Clarence Valley Council is seeking an experienced and motivated qualified to lead the strategic planning, development and delivery of initiatives that enhance our diverse network of parks, sporting facilities, open spaces and community infrastructure.

Working within the Open Spaces & Facilities team, you will coordinate the development of strategies, masterplans, asset management plans and capital works projects that help shape the future of open spaces across the Clarence Valley. You will also work closely with community groups, government agencies, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver practical and sustainable outcomes for our communities.

About You

You will be a collaborative and solutions-focused professional with experience in open space planning and management. You will possess strong communication, stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills, together with the ability to translate strategic priorities into practical outcomes.

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
