Daily tasks and responsibilities:

- Completes daily forklift safety checklist. Hooks batteries up to battery charger.
- Assists with creating drop list of merchandise for placement in aisles. Communicates with floor managers to set priorities and determine merchandise placement.
- Moves pallets of merchandise using electric forklift and electric pallet. Uses/acts as spotter to alert forklift driver if something is falling and to keep people out of the fall-danger zone.
- Wraps pallets in plastic wrap and attaches a merchandise tag.



Stacks merchandise from partial pallets onto full pallets. Removes empty pallets from the sales floor. Rotates stock as necessary.
- Ensures that all pallets being placed in steel meet Costco Standards.
- Assists with stocking. Clears sales floor of debris. Checks merchandise sign accuracy. Marks unmarked merchandise with item number.
- Follows proper Merchandising and general safety procedures and standards.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.

Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry-specific skills that candidates should possess):

- Education/Training: High School Certificate or higher
- Licenses/Certifications: Forklift Certification (prior to operating a forklift).
- Experience: Forklift driving, merchandising or comparable experience
- Knowledge/Skills:
