Volley Recruit is looking for experienced Crane Operators and Advanced Riggers to join our Client across WA.

We’re not just looking to place you on one shutdown and move on. We’re focused on building long-term relationships with our workforce and keeping good people working across multiple projects and clients throughout the year.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for experienced Crane Operators and Advanced Riggers for upcoming and ongoing shutdowns across Western Australia. If you’re WA-based, experienced with large cranes or advanced rigging, and looking for regular monthly shutdown work, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple Tier-1 mining operations, including BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue, with FIFO travel, accommodation and meals provided.

- Potential to move between projects and clients

Pay Rates

- Riggers: up to $66.13/hr
- CN Crane Operators: up to $70.15/hr
- Crane Operators up to 100T: up to $73.60/hr
- Crane Operators 101T–200T: up to $77.05/hr
- Crane Operators 201T–300T: up to $79.35/hr
- Crane Operators 301T+: up to $82.80/hr





What We’re Looking For

Crane Operators

- C0 High Risk Work Licence
- Proven experience operating mobile cranes above 100 tonnes
- Relevant VOCs
- Current Rio Tinto induction
- Current BHP induction

Advanced Riggers

- Current Intermediate or Advanced Rigging Licence
- Proven shutdown and/or mining experience
- Relevant VOCs
- Current Rio Tinto induction
- Current BHP induction

All Applicants Must Have

- High Risk Work Licence
- White Card
- Current HR Driver’s Licence
- Working at Heights (within the last 2 years)
- National Police Clearance
- Relevant VOCs
- Mask Fit Test (desirable)
- Ear Fit Test (desirable)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
