About the role

We are seeking a detail oriented Assembly Technician to join our team-oriented and innovative team. This hands on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision components and thrives in a high tech manufacturing environment.

- Assembly skills: attention to detail, reading engineering drawings, following quality processes, with an electrical bent
- Electronic component soldering experience, preferably including surface mount
- Fine soldering, using a magnifying lens or microscope where needed
- Wiring harness assembly including crimping of Mil Spec connectors
- Electronic knowledge desirable
- Maintain high standards of quality and precision in all builds
- Report issues and updates clearly, both verbally and electronically
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe production area
- Follow ISO and internal quality procedures diligently

About you You do not need to tick every box. If you bring enthusiasm, attention to detail and a willingness to learn, we would like to hear from you.

- Strong fine motor skills for delicate component assembly
- Ability to read and follow detailed drawings and instructions
- Experience with soldering, wire crimping and microscope work
- Basic mechanical fitting skills
- Good time management and teamwork
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

Workshop labourer / Delivery driver Due to further company growth, we are seeking a full time Workshop Labourer and Delivery Driver.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and practical person to support our CNC workshop operations. This is an entry level role suited to someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in keeping things clean and organised, and is happy to assist wherever needed to keep a workshop running smoothly.

- Keeping the workshop clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Emptying bins and managing scrap and recycling
- Sweeping, mopping and general workshop housekeeping
- Organising tools, equipment and storage areas
- Checking and restocking consumables such as gloves, rags, packaging and workshop supplies
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Packing completed jobs and preparing items for dispatch
- Driving company vehicles for local runs, collections and deliveries
- Supporting the workshop team with general labouring tasks as required
- Compliance with ISO accreditation and Naeco quality procedures

About you We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic team player with good communication skills, who also has:

- A strong work ethic and willingness to help
- Good organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks
- A current driver licence (essential)
- A current forklift licence
