Your new role:
As a Customer Support Officer within Central Virtual Integrated Community Care (Central VICC), you'll play an key role in coordinating referrals and supporting timely access to services across Metro South Health.
Coordinate the timely receipt, processing and completion of referrals, ensuring information meets established pathways, guidelines and eligibility criteria.
Use your strong communication and customer service skills to liaise confidently with patients, referral sources, members of the public and departmental staff by phone and email.
Work across a range of health information systems, including CHIMS, ERIC, SRWS and RedCAP, maintaining accurate data and cross-referencing referral information.
Provide high-quality administrative support to the team, managing enquiries, correspondence and documentation while prioritising workloads and meeting required timeframes.
About you:
We're looking for an organised, people-focused and solutions-oriented professional who takes pride in providing accurate, responsive and respectful customer support.
You're a confident communicator who can build rapport and clearly convey information to a diverse range of patients, carers, referral sources and colleagues.
You're highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, maintain data accuracy and consistently meet deadlines.
You have strong administrative and computer skills, including confidence using Microsoft programs and learning new information systems and databases.
You bring integrity, respect and a team-focused approach, with a commitment to confidentiality, quality service and positive outcomes for patients.
