Senior Cyber & Cloud Security Consultant – Contract

? Initial 12-week contract

? 3 days per week

I'm working with an organisation looking for an experienced Cyber & Cloud Security Consultant to come in on an initial 12-week engagement and help deliver a number of priority cyber security initiatives.

This is a broad role, so we're looking for someone who can comfortably work across both the technical and governance sides of cyber.

You'll work closely with the Director of IT and alongside a recently onboarded MSP, taking ownership of key security work and helping drive it through to completion.

We're looking for experience across:

- Cyber security governance, risk and assurance
- ISM, Essential Eight, PSPF, ISO 27001 and/or NIST
- Azure,



Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security
- Cloud security and secure-by-design practices
- Security controls, vulnerabilities and remediation
- Working with MSPs and external security providers
- Government or highly regulated environments would be highly regarded

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can get across an setting quickly, work independently and get things done.

There's also potential for the engagement to extend beyond the initial 12 weeks.
