Builders and Plumbers - Solomon Islands or PNGA leading construction company in the South Pacific is inviting applications from Site Managers / builders, and Plumbers, to support an expanding workbook.These are full-time in country roles in the Solomon Islands or PNG, offering the chance to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with a talented team.Market leading remuneration and conditions are on offer for the right candidate(s).
What you'll be doingManage / supervise construction projects (or plumbing installations for the plumbing role) on projects ranging in value from $10m - $100m+.




Oversee and direct the work of a local workforce to achieve quality and safety standards.Design coordination - ability to interpret drawings and specifications and identify constructability problems ahead of time.Ensure that construction / plumbing work is performed in accordance with the drawings and specifications.Collaborate with in house teams - management staff, administrators and engineers to ensure efficient project delivery.Assist in the planning and scheduling of work on site.Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.What we're looking for10+ years of proven experience as a builder or plumber, with positive knowledge of AS/NZS standards.Strong foundational knowledge in building or plumbing (preferably on complex or large scale projects).
Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Willingness to work in remote, international locations.Please note these are in-country roles - FIFO arrangements are not possible.
