We also own and operate Whyalla Beef, one of Australia’s largest, state-of-the-art feedlots located in Southern Queensland, along with Beef Producers Australia (BPA) as one of Australia’s largest domestic Meat Distribution companies.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Based at our Oakey Beef Exports processing plant located at Darling Downs, just 28km west of Toowoomba, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable team player to join the BPA distribution operations division and be responsible for the:-

- completion of local deliveries of product on Tuesdays & Thursdays (approx. 3 to 10 deliveries per day)

- management of on time delivery schedules to customers
- management of customer invoicing and consignment documentation

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience with on time delivery operations, have good people, literacy, numeracy and computer skills, along with proven experience in invoicing and receipts.



This position will suit a person who is keen to learn, with proficiency in quickly adapting to computer software, invoicing processes and be able to work both unsupervised, as well as part of a team.

Ideally, candidates with the following attributes are encouraged to apply:

- Ability to physically load and unload a delivery van and distribute goods in a timely manner. This role requires regular lifting of up to 27kg

- Dependable and self-motivated to efficiently complete deliveries, assist operational tasks, and contribute positively to a rapid-paced team environment

- Possess proven intermediate computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to in-house systems/platforms (Promptu & Oracle)

- Demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance awareness in all aspects of work.

- Hold a current clean driving licence

- Be vaccinated for Q-Fever or be willing to undertake vaccination for Q-Fever

The required working hours are from 7:00am - 3:06pm Monday to Friday.
