Dental Assistant – Full-Time or Part-Time - Multiple openings

About Us The Smile Artisans is a friendly, patient-focused dental practice in Mortlake. We take pride in delivering high-quality care in a relaxed, welcoming setting, and we're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our supportive team.

About the Role

You'll work chairside alongside our dentists, helping patients feel comfortable and keeping the clinic running smoothly day to day.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing four-handed chairside assistance across general, cosmetic and surgical procedures
- Preparing and maintaining surgeries, instruments, and materials
- Sterilising equipment in line with infection control standards
- Taking and processing X-rays (if qualified)
- Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment
- Assisting with reception duties when needed,



including bookings and patient records

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant (required)
- Strong knowledge of infection control procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring manner with patients
- Reliable, organised, and a great team player

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $34.74 – $37.79 per hour
