About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant or Trainee to join our team at Dental@187 Fullarton . This is a permanent full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our dental practitioners and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care in a welcoming environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will be at the heart of our operations, contributing directly to the quality of patient experience and the smooth running of our dental practice.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting dentists during patient treatments, including holding instruments, suctioning and providing chairside support
- Preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures
- Welcoming patients, taking preliminary information and helping them feel comfortable in our practice
- Recording patient treatment notes and maintaining accurate clinical records
- Assisting with infection control protocols and maintaining practice hygiene standards
- Supporting the dental team with administrative tasks and general practice operations

What we're looking for

- Solid communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
- A genuine passion for providing quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a steady-paced environment




- Previous dental practice experience is not essential, we are willing to train the right candidate
