About Kuttabul Health Centre Located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point where the area itself has been a naval base since 1856. It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services.

This mid-size base has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1530 Monday-Friday.

What you’ll do

- Deliver clinical dental services to Defence members





- Provide a full range of general dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventative care

- Undertake procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, periodontal care and minor oral surgery

- Promote and maintain oral health through patient education, preventative strategies and ongoing care

- Use diagnostic tools including dental imaging to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning

- Maintain accurate clinical records using Defence eHealth systems and ensure compliance with governance frameworks

- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes

What you bring

- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist with AHPRA

- Minimum two years’ full time (or equivalent) post graduate clinical experience, with recent practice within the last five years

- Strong clinical capability across a broad range of general dentistry procedures

- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification

- Australian Citizenship required for baseline security clearance

- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
