Paediatric Dietitian – Contractor

Aligned OT is looking for a Dietitian to join our growing paediatric allied health team as an independent contractorin Penrith.

We’re looking for someone who has a genuine interest in supporting children and their families, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes initiative in their own learning and professional development.

About Aligned OT

Aligned OT is a growing paediatric allied health clinic located in the heart of Penrith, approximately a 10-minute walk from Penrith train station and public transport.

Our multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech Pathology and Dietetics, allowing opportunities for collaboration and a holistic approach to supporting children and families.

We work with children with a range of developmental needs, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Global Developmental Delay (GDD), sensory differences and feeding-related challenges.

About the Chance

This is an independent contractor position, offering flexibility around your availability and caseload.

Depending on your experience and areas of interest, you may support children and families with:

- Fussy and selective eating
- Feeding difficulties
- Expanding food variety
- Positive mealtime routines
- Nutritional adequacy and growth
- Sensory-related feeding challenges
- Family education and practical strategies
- Neurodivergent children with feeding and nutritional needs
- Collaboration with other allied health professionals involved in the child's care

Paediatric experience is highly regarded; however, we also value clinicians who demonstrate a genuine commitment to developing their knowledge and skills within paediatrics.

Contractor Requirements

As this is an independent contractor position, applicants must:

- Hold a current ABN
- Maintain their own Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Maintain their own Public Liability Insurance
- Hold a current Working With Children Check
- Hold appropriate Dietetic qualifications and relevant professional credentialling/membership
- Be responsible for maintaining their own professional and contractor requirements
